About the Author:
Shirley Elliott Johns has been a certified biblical counselor through ACBC since 2008 and in 2010 she earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling through Master's University in Santa Clarita, CA. In addition, she has earned the "Foundations of Biblical Counseling" certificate through CCEF and received the "Marriage" and "Reconciliation and Mediation" specializations thru ACBC. She serves as a lay counselor at the Hope Center of Christian Family Chapel, in addition to teaching in the Hope Center Counseling Training Program. Shirley uses her gifting as she serves in the worship ministry at her church. She is an accomplished and degreed pianist and accompanist and teaches private piano lessons in her home. She was married to Brett Johns in 2020 and enjoys serving alongside him in ministry.
